EURACTIV presents its new curated newsletter “Europa Kompakt”

Today EURACTIV is launching a new newsletter in German Europa Kompaktwhich will bring daily news and politics to EURACTIV’s growing audience of German speakers.

“With a new German government in place and with it a renewed commitment to Europe, we are proud to renew our commitment as EURACTIV to ensure that news and politics from Brussels are available seamlessly to German-speaking audiences,” said Oliver Noyan, Senior Editor in EURACTIV’s Berlin office.

In addition to bringing European Union news and policies to a German-speaking audience, Europa Kompakt will continue the mission of the previous EURACTIV newsletter, Capitalsalso closing the gaps between European countries.

“With media still predominantly national, EURACTIV’s mission to connect the public sphere across national borders is important. I am delighted to be working with Oliver so that we can further develop this into the most widely spoken first language in Europe,” added Sarantis Michalopoulos, EURACTIV Network Editor.

Europa Kompakt will focus on the various hubs, giving a brief summary of the most relevant developments in these specific areas. In addition, Europa Kompakt will provide an overview of European news and an agenda of upcoming events, mainly in Germany and Berlin.
