DIY workshops at Fisk Avenue in Waukesha

For the owner of Fisk Avenue, building handmade furniture began with a farm table for his home. Four years later, they have created hundreds of pieces for others to enjoy.

Brian is in Waukesha to check out a custom project that’s almost ready for a special holiday dinner.

About Fisk Avenue (website)

At Fisk Avenue, we believe the best things are always made by hand. It is this conviction that prompted us to build our first piece of furniture … a farmhouse dining table. Since then, our table has become the centerpiece of our house where we have shared many special moments with the family. We love our handmade farmhouse table so much!

Others also loved our table and soon people who are starting ask us to build one for their families. Today, we custom make handcrafted rustic farmhouse style furniture of all types, from farmhouse dining tables and Adirondack chairs to rustic farmhouse beds.

The wood used to create our standard lines and custom parts comes from several sources. It’s salvaged from barns built across the Midwest at the turn of the 20th century, urban structures left to rot over time, and sustainably grown local American timber. Each wood we use is hand selected for its quality and character. We are dedicated to creating the best heirloom quality products for your family and your home.
